Last Monday, I brought a Harrod's blouse altered. The tailor Carmella said to bring it back when I buy extra black silk and she would complete the alteration. Carmella is worth 5 stars! I have access to other tailors but I believe Carmella is more professional and more talented. So today, 7 days later, Wendy Baskin said Carmella will not do the alteration. "Other customers buy a lot and bring in their alts. So those are priority," Wendy stated. However, I buy something every paycheck from H. BASKIN. The only difference is I rarely buy full priced selections. I did not say anything to her in the store, as there were other customers. I left that store feeling feeling horrible for coming in. By the time I got in my car, I was in tears. Later, I called her to find out what the underlying problem was. I was hoping to hear why she was treating me differently. I got cut off couple times: she was reprimanding me. Then she said that I do not need to bring my alterations. That's after she said that she would do the alteration. KEEPING YOUR WORD IS IMPORTANT. Being courteous to customers is also important. Everyone has feelings.

Classy clothes. Everyone has been so helpful there including the seamstress. Love this store!
