The View North Hills

I have rented many apartments in my 10 years of stay in US, AION management is by far the worst I have dealt with. I have stayed at the view at north hills previously known as Woodhawk club apartments for 5 years and this place is extremely expensive for the value it offers specially under new management. If you plan to lease - be prepared for poor maintenance and the arrogant leasing staff - they are good only till you sign lease. The leasing offices would hardly pick your call thereafter. They would always complain about short staff and request would not be resolved for months. They would not hesitate to call cops on you if you argue.Lastly they would keep your deposits even for minor issues which could be as simple as pencil or crayon marks on wall - double coat required like seriously. They would never refer the move in checklist and fine at will. AION head office will only give you ticket numbers and no solution. If you love to argue and have ample free time this is the place to be. The form sent by management in reply was filled 2 weeks back. No one reached out and they dont care.

While being on our second lease within this complex, we will not be renewing when this one ends. While there were improvements to the outside and hallways of the buildings, the maintenance and effort from the office is not ideal. We have had multiple work orders go without fix or communication for 2 weeks or longer. Went without AC for an entire month in the heat of August. While addressing this issue to the front office there was no resolve for quite some time. Had been dealing with a broken dryer that simply needed the vent to be cleaned out outside. Their resolution was to now have the vent blow this hot air into our laundry room and cause moisture on the walls. If I had to suggest someone on renting here or not I would tell them to find another complex.

Sara Grace is a top notch people person expert!! She made me feel heard and took time to explain things when I was not understanding the first time! Her hospitality skills should be recognized and applauded! I hope you recognize what a great gem of a lady you have working in your office!

I do not recommend this property at all. I pay $1,800+ for a newly renovated unit that was not move in ready. Upon move in, I verbally talked to management about the issues and submitted Service Requests through the portal and it took several emails to the office and to Aion to get a mediocre response. I am over 4 months in my lease and still waiting on my brand new dryer to work, shelves to be reinstalled into the walls, a missing window screen, a missing bracket for a cabinet shelf and for them to do something about the tenant below me who smokes cigarettes inside her unit. The cigarette smoke is so bad that I leave my unit smelling as if I smoke. I am highly sensitive to this, its causing chronic burning in my chest and eyes that I try to stay somewhere else on the weekends. Because of this issue, I have had to resort to keeping all windows and doors open which is not ideal during this hot season and I am worried about the winter when I will have to keep them closed and the smell getting worse. I was told by Carly at the front desk that they can not do anything about the smoking if they do not physically see the tenant doing it. I kindly invited her over to my unit so she could physically smell it, especially the main vent but nothing was ever arranged. I was told they were short staffed with maintenance so I suggested to be compensated for the inconvenience since I am paying for a newly renovated unit that should be working and in order or to have my lease shortened without penalty and nothing was done. Attached is an image of the temperature of my unit due to me not being able to close my windows or doors or turn on the air because the cigarette smoke is so bad. Also, in my service requests I noted for them to call me before entering (I am a single woman with a puppy) and the maintenance workers would call from a personal cell phone in which my phone directs those unknown calls to voicemail, well they never left a voicemail and took it upon themselves to enter. This has been the worst rental experience of my life and Im paying so much when I cant use everything in this unit nor do I want to be inside it because of how sensitive I am to cigarette smoke.
