Came here to see the Amazing Anna Spackman-she was amazing! The food and beverages were amazing as well. I had a chickpea wrap with a kombucha and one of their wonderful lemon blueberry tarts. Steel City has it all! Great food and drinks, great customer service and a first rate open mic night. Great artists that perform on Thursday nights. Stop in and be amazed!!

You know what's good about Steel City Coffeehouse? Everything. The staff and ownership, the food and drinks, the whole vibe. The warmth and diversity in that space is unparalleled, and the opportunities the owners provide to the community are selfless in so many ways. The fundraisers, charity events, and local live performers that can stretch out their voices and have a place to be heard are met with open hearts and big smiles. I love this place. I've been to a lot of coffee shops and breweries - Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, Florida, Texas, Maine, Australia, England, Ireland, Honduras, Puerto Rico - I've seen a lot of people playing guitar, singing, harmonizing, rapping, married couples performing, folks collaborating with people they've just met, playing piano, reading poetry, and people here are genuinely supportive of the performer, regardless of genre, age, gender, color, or artistic style. You'd be hard pressed to find a place like this anywhere in the world, and we're fortunate enough to have such a special place for artists of all kinds, right here in our little town. Thank you Steel City. Also, I had the black bean burrito and a mocha the other day, and they were both fantastic.
