Unity Rhythm Ballroom Dance Studio

We LOVED working with Sandra Dee on our wedding dance. We worked with her to create a dance for "Just the Two of Us." Sandra Dee was so so great--we are totally inexperienced dancers and she was able to teach us a dance that was easy for us to remember and that looked great! It was also just a really fun wedding prep experience that I would recommend to any couple considering dance lessons.

In preparation of our wedding, my husband and I wanted to be able to get through our first dance without looking like complete fools because neither of us are dancers. We looked into a number of local schools and instructors. Unity was flexible with her timing and the pricing was extremely reasonable for what we got. Working with Sandra Dee was fantastic! We opted for private lessons, since we were both really self-conscious about it all, and the whole experience went better than wed even hoped for. Sandra Dee is sweet, passionate about what she does, and soooo patient. We came in with a song and nothing else, and we left with a whole routine that was simple enough for us to perform even after a few drinks and the craziness of our wedding. More than anything, Im amazed at how well she was able to put us both at ease and leave us feeling confident enough to still feel comfortable in front of so many other people. You cant go wrong choosing to learn with Sandra Dee. She clearly loves what she does, and we couldnt be happier with how things went!

Sandra is no short of AMAZING!!! My now husband and I had 10+ private lessons with Sandra for our 1st dance for our wedding. You might not need that many but with our skill level and length of song we thought it was best. We wanted to do something ballroom-ish with a twist at the end of Salsa. Sandra listened to us and what we wanted. We had our first song in mind but we were lost with it came to the Spanish-style song and dance. Sandra recommended a bachata style dance instead of a salsa based on our skill level. She even had a song in mind for us! We were such beginners and so not confident before our first class. She started us off slow but we really got the hang of things. Sandra is so patient, energetic, and goofy it really made the time we had with her a blast! We went from not knowing a single step to performing a 3 minute long dance with 2 totally different styles with so much confidence. Every couple that came in before and after our classes had smiles on their faces. This is a testamate to how Sandra runs her classes, always at ease. We truly cannot recommend Sandra enough! Don't think twice about booking with her...you will not regret it at all!! My husband and I hope to even go back for some group lessons! Thank you so much Sandra! I have nothing but incredible things to say about Unity Rhythm Ballroom Dance Studio. My fiance and I were in search of dance lessons for our wedding in September 2023 since we wanted to spice things up with a choreographed dance to our first song. We originally tried a different dance studio, but unfortunately it was not what we were looking for. We then tried Sandra Dee's studio, and it was everything we were looking for! Sandra Dee worked with us 1-on-1 over the course of multiple weeks to craft a dance completely unique to our first song. We really looked forward to going every week. She is super personable, caring, funny, and makes you feel comfortable learning how to dance if you're a complete beginner (like me). It really shows how much she cares for her students and wants them to do well. All her tips and tricks are super easy to understand. She makes the learning process very simple and straightforward. At our wedding, everyone loved our dance, and they couldn't believe we had something choreographed together. It really made the night fun and special. Sandra Dee even integrated two lifts into our dance (which sounds nuts to a person who's never danced before like me), but they were so easy/elegant and made our guests go wild when they saw it! Totally worth it. If you're looking to learn to dance for your upcoming wedding/special event, or if you just want to learn in general to have some fun, I highly recommend Sandra Dee and her studio. I think my wife and I plan on continuing lessons with her as we really enjoyed the entire experience from start to finish. You won't regret it! Thank you Sandra Dee!!

Sandra Dee is the absolute best!!!! We received 5 private dance lessons as a Christmas present for our first dance at our wedding, and WOW what a tremendous gift. We weren't sure what to expect going into it, but I am so glad we did it! If you are hesitating at all and are thinking about taking dance lessons, just go for it! You will have so much fun and Sandra Dee is the best. She is so sweet, funny, helpful, kind, down to earth, and has the best personality. She makes you feel very comfortable right away no matter what your dance experience is. Simply put, she feels like family after working with her for a few months. We really enjoyed doing something new together as a couple, and ended up buying even more lessons once our 5 were up, because we were enjoying it so much. Our first dance went great at our wedding, too. It'll be an amazing memory for us for forever. We plan on going back to take lessons with Sandra Dee just for fun. YOU WILL NOT REGRET BUYING LESSONS!
