    Studio Nine did a great job covering our wedding, reception, and photoshoot. Communication was clear both before and after the event, we felt they were very receptive to our requests. During the event the entire team did a great job of following the schedule, adjusting to changes, and coordinating with us. The photo and video were well produced, thank you for the wonderful memories!

    Working with Studio Nine Photography was one of the most pleasant experiences we had during wedding planning! Jonathan and team were attentive to details and receptive to questions that we had during the planning of all of the events and services they were providing us. Jonathan was so responsive when it came to emails and every time we handled tasks related to photography and videography, we always said to ourselves that it was such a pleasant interaction and we loved the efficiency. Because Jonathan was so attentive to the details and our needs, we felt comfortable and at ease with how this portion of the weekend would go. During the wedding weekend, the whole team, Jonathan, Michael, Courtnee, Karl, and Paul, was amazing to work with during all of the events. Our family and friends loved interacting with the team and we received positive comments for weeks about how fun it was to work with them! They were all so funny, warm, relaxed, and professional when interacting with us and the guests. Shout out to Michael for calling Pooja out on being stiff with her veil and having a genuine smile at all timesit was much appreciated because it was easy to forget in the moment. Being on a busy timeline, it often got stressful, but everyone kept the mood light and made sure we laughed a ton and were enjoying our time. We absolutely loved how Michael got EVERYONE dancing on the dance floor at the receptionit was nice to see almost every guest on the dance floor. For the post-wedding photography and videography materials, we were involved in every step and Jonathan made sure to give us enough time and say in the photo albums and all of the videos. This helped to ensure we were happy with the final products in their entirety. We have nothing but amazing things to say about their work! Our friends who are getting married this year were in their decision-making process during our wedding and after the first event, they knew they wanted to go with Studio Nine. We are very happy with our decision to work with Studio Nine and would recommend them to anyone who may ask us for opinions!

    Three years ago one of the best days of my life was nearly tarnished by unprofessionalism and mishandling of a stressful situation. We hired Studio Nine Photography to shoot our wedding, and while we had very pleasant interactions with the photographer (Iryna) and what I assume is the owner of the company (Jonathan) prior to the big day, on the day of our wedding Iryna was anything but pleasant. Apparently, there was some miscommunication between us and Studio Nine as to how long portraits would require and the amount of time allotted didnt allow for the photos that we wanted. That wasnt communicated to us the day of. As the bride and groom, we could have politely asked our guests to enjoy cocktail hour for a little longer so we could get the photos we wanted. Instead, our photographer rushed family members through the process. During this time an elderly family member (unfortunately now passed away) was making her way to the wedding stage for a family photo and was told Hurry up or you will not be in the photos. These types of comments were tamer throughout the night, but we received several notes of feedback from our guests that one of our two photographers was curt and unpleasant. The most upsetting part of working with this photographer actually happened after our wedding. While we felt a little uneasy about the professionalism of the photographer on the big day, we knew she was talented and were excitedly awaiting our digital release of photos. What we found first through the photographers Instagram was a post/story castigating my aunt for having her phone out during the ceremony. This upset me more than any of the other disappointments working with this photographer. While we did get an apology (only after being called out), and we got some kind words from Jonathan about the takeaways they will have for future clients, we received nothing more. As you might see in other review responses with my partner (if its still up), Studio Nine felt the need to further belittle us three years after the fact by claiming that we were simply looking to be fully refunded our investment in their services. If anyone would like the full email exchange, Im happy to share it. At NO POINT did I ever ask for a full refund. We had an extremely uncomfortable, and upsetting experience caused by the photographer we hired, and after bringing this complaint to the studio we were told there was nothing more they could do and they stood behind Irynas work. There were no goodwill offers of any kind (even a discount on prints or albums) to compensate for the poor experience we had. In this situation I felt it was fair to leave the compensation up to Studio Nine, seeing as how it seemed they understood why we were upset about the experience. This resulted in nothing, so, my wife (and myself) did the only thing we felt we could do at that point. We reviewed the studio online so that potential clients could hear our story and decide for themselves whether they would trust Studio Nine with a once-in-a-lifetime wedding experience. To make matters worse, we had both gotten over this whole fiasco now that were three years into a very happy marriage, until today. What was an upsetting and disorienting experience became a small bad memory around a very happy day. Until today, when Studio Nine finally responded to our public feedback with criticism and accusations of a shakedown, as if an email asking what can be done about our bad experience is some kind of harassment. I may not remember the squabble over the cramped timeframe and the specific looks that we missed in the end result, but I will never unsee the public shaming Iryna (representing Studio Nine Photography) posted on social media. I am just glad that my relative did not have to see it too. That experience, on top of the accusations, lobbed at my partner (and Studio Nines other client) are the reasons I am leaving a low rating for this studio. I do not recommend this studio to anyone.

    S9P has a PHENOMENAL set of photographers, videographers, and editors. This review will primarily focus on our experience during the wedding weekend. First off, want to have a special shoutout to our wonderful team, Ryan, Michael, Krishan, Aaron, and Paul. This group was funny, warm, exciting, quirky, professional, and all-around AMAZING! they knew what to do to make us laugh so that they could get the right shot. From sniffing cheeks to watching Michael dance, we were constantly laughing and having a great time during our photoshoots! Second, let's talk about the team's workmanship and personality. Our team had the perfect balance of professionalism and weirdness. We never felt that the team was pushing their vision onto us. Rather, we felt like they were trying to get us to express what we wanted, and when we did voice an opinion, they would find a way to incorporate it in, even if it was a bit challenging. And they did all of that without missing a joke. When issues came up, like the camera lens fogging up, our photographers worked to use that change as an asset rather than a liability--they switched around some things to capture a vibe that worked with what they had! Finally, let's talk about the logistics. Planning a wedding can be stressful, and having vendors be responsive and kind goes a long way. We were impressed with the level of responsiveness by Jonathan--we would send out an email one day and have a response either that evening or the next day. When we needed to schedule a call to discuss our vision, we would always have one scheduled within the week. On the day of the event, the team made sure we started on time so as to maximize the pictures taken by the team. With a wedding of 225+ guests, that can be challenging, but this team was able to shift people around, respectfully and, again, with a nice sense of humor! We would HIGHLY recommend the StudioNine team to anyone, and we are grateful for the work you did to record our special day!
