Beautiful grounds, located right on the Delaware river, beautiful scenery. The mansion is something to see. The volunteers are very friendly and attentive. A nice place to spend the day enjoying the history and nature of the area.

Extremely beautiful mansion and grounds that are part of the Fairmont park system. I traveled here from Center City via the Trenton line, and had a short walk from Torresdale station. Absolutely worth it if you are looking for an activity away from the city. The mansion itself has limited hours and you should definitely check the website before arriving, but the grounds are open until dusk most days. There is a small art gallery on the 2nd floor as well as unique antique home decor to see. The location is very popular for events and definitely worth considering if you are in need of a venue. I am also appreciative to the woman working here for allowing us inside despite technically being closed due to the snow! Still great to visit in the winter!
