Highly recommend, a hidden gem in Philly. The Rosenbachs has a long family history and they did rare book collection. The tour Guide Joe is a great great person, knows a ton about this house and the interiors and tells story in an alluring way. I love the paintings in the house and also the shelves filled with books. Happen to find a pop-up book (Alice in Wonderland) and Im absolutely mesmerized by it.

This is an enjoyable guided tour with a likable guide. The admission fee is pretty reasonable as far as Philadelphia goes. Very nice lounge for visitors.

Nice collection but very annoying that you can only see it with a guided tour. I wanted to explore on my own but had to listen to history of various pieces of furniture and paintings that didnt interest me. Also, even when we got to the book collection, which to me was the point, it was very much tour guide led with little room for exploration of the impressive collection. Id recommend allowing visitors access without a guided tour.
