This is the best, hands down, hardware store. They are the only place where you can walk in with a request for a part and they know exactly what you need. I have never found them to be rude or disrespectful. I am dismayed by all of the bad reviews because hardware stores like this are a rare find. My parents and I have depended on their expertise for over 50 years.

Always liked this store. My family has been going there on and off for decades, though we don't live close by anymore. Sadly they put going out of business signs outside. Great place for specialty door knobs, drawer pulls, hinges, handles, etc. Huge selection of stuff you wont find easily (really attractive stuff). Also they still have inventory of some old school filament light bulbs, which can't be made anymore. The only reason I knock them down a star is they have too much old inventory that needs to be cleaned up/removed. No offense but some of the chemical based products are probably no good after 10 yrs (batteries, adhesives, cfls, etc). But I'm sad to see them go. Really knowledgeable staff.
