The Berks

My daughter lived at the Berks the 22-23 school year, and it was a great experience. Safe building (including a parking garage) and great location - close to campus. Mark was always very responsive to any questions -- whether about move in/out or questions about the rentcafe portal (for paying rent). I highly recommend The Berks!

I have been living at the Berks for about a year now and have not had any problems. Maintenance always responds in a timely manner especially urgent matters. Management is very accommodating and respectful.

The berks living is a great place to stay! Its very close to Temples campus which is convenient. Management is really nice and understanding of your needs!

It was relatively safe with the key fobs, except there were a good four days in which my boyfriend didn't even need a key to get in the first door. The maintenance and such would arrive very quickly and were very helpful, as well as the managers. However, I lived by the garage and it was miserable. It was incredibly loud throughout the day and night. In addition, the walls are INCREDIBLY THIN, so I had to buy and weak earplugs due to my upstairs neighbors. It has been so loud my roommate and I almost called the cops because it was giving us scary ideas of what may be happening. We also had to move in late because of the people who lived there before, but when we requested to move out a few days later, they decided to give priority to those moving in after us. Based on the fact that we paid $950 dollars a month for a small two bedroom (now it will be $1,000 a month which is why it is especially unbearable to spend that much to live here), I would expect a little more understanding. Anyway, I personally would not recommend. I had a better experience with my house last year and much preferred Vantage apartment building prior.

I have been living at the berks for the past year and renewed my lease for next year. The apartments are beautiful and spacious. The management is very attentive!
