I stayed here for my sophomore year. Everyone is helpful and attentive to resident needs. The gym has enormous windows and is my favorite part of the building. Amazing community.

Raising rent is one the downside of this Apartment

I rented this apartment for my daughter in 2019. It was convenient and while the area wasnt the best, it met the needs for her off campus housing; so I thought. She experienced air conditioning issues several times and had to wait over a week for maintenance, a leakage from the roof in which she was moved to anther unit. By now I was thinking new unit, no new issues, I was wrong. More issues with no air, then she saw a mice and roaches. The bathroom sink was clogged and she waited days before this was resolved. The price was low because of COVID, and thus the admissions had fallen off tremendously. The next year the rent increased and she still had to endure non-responsive office staff members; in addition to late responses from maintenance request. Every year the rent increased and nothing was improved. Again, the building was convenient and while there is no full kitchen and not knowing the area well, this still seemed convenient. This year she was advised she would have to move again since they were remodeling her unit. The timing was terrible since she was moving out in July anyway; however, she complied. As planned, she gave her notice to advise she was moving, and the unit was left clean. Her father helped to move all of her belongs out in one day. She returned the keys promptly and we assumed we would receive our deposit back. After numerous attempts, she finally reaches someone and was told the deposit was forfeited because they had to clean the unit and remove furniture. She didnt have any furniture, everything belonged the Edge! There was absolutely nothing to clean, she literally left one unit with items boxed because she was already in the process of moving before they transitioned her to final unit. This is very deceitful to say the least. This rent was paid on time every month since she moved in and this is the stunt this management decides to pull. I would never recommend this place to anyone, if you are not familiar with Philadelphia, please do not be as desperate, look for some place else. You can definitely find better.
