I had been dealing with on and off again chylous ascites for NINE years. I live in Illinois and no doctor here could figure out my problem or what was causing it. After being referred to Dr Itkin and a brief phone conversation with him he was pretty certain I had a blockage somewhere in my lymphatic system. I flew out to see him and I was “fixed” and back home within the same week. He and his staff are AMAZING and I feel truely blessed to have been a patient of his. Friendly professional staff and very caring doctor.

I had a case of Chylous Ascites after a laparoscopic kidney donation. I was accumulating fluid in my peritoneal space at a rate of a liter per day. Dr. Itkin and his amazing team diagnosed me quickly and accurately. I was treated with two procedures in which Dr. Itkin injected a special 'glue' into my lymph system sealing the leak. If you are having any problems with your lymphatic system Dr. Itkin and his staff are the best around. Thank you again!

This physician is the best, my 21 year old son Andrew was accumulating lymph node fluid in his abdomen no one could figure out why or where he was leaking from. Until we found this great Dr and his nurse Megan they fixed my son after 5 months of pain and suffering. I highly recommend this physician the best in the country. Patients from all over the country world come to see him.

Dr Itkin and his staff were wonderful. Dan had Chylous asides that was a surgical complication of a left kidney neprothy. We traveled from Colorado to Philadelphia for my husband to receive treatment. We immediately realized we were with the right doctor, and within 2 weeks, Dan was home, cured of this debilitating condition that was putting him at great risk of death. His condition was rare, and doctors in Colorado were not familiar with the treatment. We are forever thankful for the experience and treatment. There are very few doctors who have Dr Itkin’s knowledge and experience. I am on a mission to educate all of our doctors in Colorado of this rare condition, and where treatment is available.
