Herman Realty Group, Inc & University Enterprises

I rented an apartment from Herman Realty in 2020-2021 and it was a horrible experience. The woman who answered the phone (I cannot recall her name) was extremely accusatory and could not have a conversation without it becoming an argument. I had multiple instances where I would come back to my apartment and notice that somebody had been in there. I worked with Herman to have the locks changed and asked multiple times if I would be charged, to which of course they said no. When I moved out I had multiple deductions from my security deposit, one of which was the lock change. I had to actually have a lawyer involved. This company gives renting from local business a bad rep. They have negative reviews if you look at other websites aside from Google. I'm not sure where they are disappearing to but just be warned.

Ive been a tenant under Herman Group for 2 years and recently moved due to needing a bigger place, I would have stayed with Herman if there were bigger properties available as they have been more than helpful in any of the minor issues I had. Their response time and customer service was above and beyond and being a family owned company, you really do know that they care about their tenants. I would highly recommend this company.

Herman Realty Group is fantastic. I lived at one of their properties for a year, and they were the most organized and responsive landlords Ive had. They were awesome at quickly fixing any problem that came up!

Great company ran by extremely responsive and helpful staff! Lived in one of their units for 3 years, they were consummate professionals throughout the entire time. Highly recommend renting from Herman Realty!
