Cant say enough About this amazing daycare/preschool. It is so much more than just a daycare. The staff is amazing, especially Ms. Felicia and Mr. Andre. They are the most caring people and make you feel so comfortable leaving your little one in their care.

Very bad experience with this facility! I did a tour with the admin Ms. Gabrielle which went well. Told her I was interested and begin the enrollment process. I specifically asked did they have a significant amount of spaces for Pre-k- K and I was told yes. I asked this question b/c with a child on the spectrum its not an easy process considering specific documentation needed and/or extra support services, plus I didnt want to invest in a facility who had limited space an ultimately waste time knowing my process can take a little longer. I communicated with Gabrielle on a weekly basis providing her with updates on my progress with getting info from my childs physician and teachers that was requested of me by her. Every email/call I placed it appeared to me my son was still being considered as I didnt hear otherwise. The week that I finally get all the necessary documents together and submit to Gabrielle she goes on to tell me, we only have 1 spot left so I said I would walk the paperwork in that day if necessary, she then says- and Im not even sure if thats still available so I say, is it available or not as she seemed quite unsure and very unconcerned about it as if her and I havent been communicating weekly for the past month or so. She proceeds to say, no , theres no available spots I couldnt believe what I was hearing as I was in desperate need of a specific start date for my son that was fast approaching and she was fully aware of this. As I expressed my concern for her lack of consideration to let me know that spots were dwindling down and/or offer me the option to put a deposit down to hold his space, She then says- weve had like five families enroll in the past week or so well excuse me- it would of been nice to be informed of this way before my sons anticipated start date so that I could of had options and expedited the paperwork. There was no apology given on her part and she truly seemed unbothered by inconveniencing my family. Spoke with the principal and she admitted the ball was dropped on the situation should have been handled much differently so in turn I was asked to give her 24 hrs to shift some things around to try to get my son a space, I was told I would hear from her next day- nothing! Received in email the following day with no definite info basically still working on it and that shed be in contact- well 3/22/24 came and I had no clear answers on whether or not he could start on 3/25, so once again the ball was dropped. Oh and I requested to speak to the regional director Allison and was told by the principal Ms. Chantel that the regional director quote on quote shes very big on returning calls especially when theres a complaint its 3/27- not a call or an email in sight. Yes, I ultimately sent an email thanking them for their time and letting them know that the way the process was handled was very unfair, unjust, discouraging, and my trust in this establishment has been lost. My gut feeling told me this no longer was the place for my son. Also, It was so ironic to me that the day I sent my sons modifications in-all of a sudden Gabrielle states theres no space available for my child. I thankfully was able to find a reputable child care facility with 5 star reviews, the process with the new establishment was a much smoother one, the new facility is immaculate, and the staff are truly WONDERFUL and very welcoming. I am very pleased to have find the new facility but wanted to leave this review for other parents awareness as it is not an easy transition of finding trustworthy childcare. Word of advice, shop around for your child and if there are red flags- dont ignore them!!! The admin/supervisor team at Chesterbrook Academy on Race street could benefit from some additional training that would help them to better serve and acknowledge the families that serve them and help them to thrive and stay in business.

We love Chesterbrook! The teachers are so compassionate and my daughter loves going. She has been at Chesterbrook since she was 6 months old and we have been so happy. They have a fantastic outdoor playground too for the kids!! So lots of time outside.
