Bright Horizons at Philadelphia Cathedral

This is such a fantastic daycare. My older child went here from the time she was 4 months until she was in kindergarten and my youngest is going there now. They are so good at teaching the children things in age-appropriate ways and my kids are/were always talking about how much fun they had during the day.

We've had a great experience at Bright Horizons over the last year! We've been sending our daughter there since she was a small infant, and she has a great time playing and learning from her teachers. They've done a nice job managing the COVID pandemic, and have instituted a strict screening protocol that makes sure that no sick kids or adults go into the daycare facility. The current center director Jen is very organized and communicates well with us.

My grandson Kole attends here. I have been to this facility a few times and every time, I felt a warm welcome. The staff are very kind and they always greet and tell him goodbyes. I know he feels apart of the Bright Horizons community. -Mom Mom :)

We've had an amazing experience at Bright Horizons - PC. It is really like one big family, with the Director (Jen) and the teachers really getting to know ALL of the children and parents, even outside their individual classrooms. We know they care about our child like their own. We left at one point ONLY for a more convenient location and ended up coming back after only 1 month because we knew BH-PC was the best place for our child. The teachers understand and adapt to the individual needs of each child. In the summers, they take the kids on the playground to do water play (taking the time to help kids change into swimsuits & put on suntan lotion). They even brought in a guitarist to play for the kids! Jen goes shopping every week to design a special menu (2 snacks a day) for the kids - everything is fresh and gives the kids a change to try lots of different foods. They're just the best!!

My daughter is soon to be 2 years old and has been with the Philadelphia cathedral bright horizons since she was 6 months old. I cannot say enough positive about the teachers and staff at this daycare. They really pour their heart and soul into not only your child, but also their relationship with you. As first time parents, my husband have really leaned on the entire team as our extended family. My daughter actually looks forward to daycare and says bye! to me. They understand what it is like to be a working parent and take the time to make you feel a part of the events at daycare. Even though I felt like I would miss out on a lot due to my profession in health care, the daycare staff have been so critical in helping me feel involved and giving me peace of mind to know that my daughter is well cared for and so deeply loved. They have managed the COVID-19 pandemic seamlessly. The communication is on point and they keep us posted on any happenings at the center. They do regular temperature checks and symptom screening. Theyve also held virtual family events that are center wide to continue the community feel despite pandemic times. The staff have checked in on us personally as parents/individuals, and they are gentle and loving with our kid. The facility is clean and well-maintained. They make it easy, as much as parenting and working can be easy. We are also cloth diapering, which they have incorporated seamlessly and always respected. It really is a family feel and they redefine the commonly used phrase in childcare, that it takes a village.
