Mi Casita Spanish Immersion Preschool

Could not be happier with our experience at Mi Casita. Knowing our little one is safe, happy, and learning a new language is a breath of fresh air. We looked at a number of preschools and instantly knew Mi Casita was where we belonged. The teachers, the students, and the community make you feel welcomed and a part of something bigger. We made a great choice!

Our daughter loves Mi Casita. Shes learning lots of Spanish, and we appreciate all the activities and presenters the center brings in for enrichment around the monthly themes.

My son has attended Mi Casita since he was 13 months old and started in the lowest class there Clase Amarillo. The teachers put so much passion and energy into these children. I never imagined a daycare/preschool having such programming and the kids love it. My son is super sad to leave and loves all the teachers and friends he has made. The huge bonus for us is it being a Spanish immersion school. I speak Spanish only at home to him so we are also a bilingual household. All the teachers are native speakers and he also gets to learn more about his culture. My daughter will be starting daycare here in fall and Im so excited to see her learn and grow at Mi Casita as well. They do work on more of a school schedule so having the Christmas holidays off is difficult for us as hospital workers but we make it work and for the experience our child has had there its worth it. Would definitely recommend

I feel so fortunate that Mi Casita is a viable option for our family. I knew that I wanted to give my son (1 years old) the gift of bilingualism and now I don't have to do it on my own (thankfully!). The Spanish immersion was the reason I was looked into Mi Casita and the project-based curriculum and attention I got when exploring options really helped sway my decision. I love being able to talk to my son about the monthly theme and often the project he comes home with continues to generate interest and curiosity for the words and ideas he learned. Little things like the decor to the entrance of the school that reflects the monthly theme allow me to connect with my 1 yr old about his day at daycare. I can see that the teachers care for him. They hug him and speak tenderly to him as he enters school everyday. I also love how the kids of all ages seem to know each other through the after hours programming. Sometimes when I pick up during an activity, the older kids say my kid's name to make him aware that his mom is here. I look forward to seeing how he continues to grown at Mi Casita!

This is our sons second year at Mi Casita and we couldnt be happier! We chose Mi Casita for the Spanish immersion aspect, and it has been amazing to watch Cole pick up the language and use Spanish words at home. However, we also gained so much more than we expected the project-based learning is really cool: the kids work on a theme throughout the month and sing songs, read books, do art projects, etc. relating to that theme, which culminates in a final project at the end of the month. It gives the kids something to work towards and really provides a focus for their daily learning. Finally, the thing we probably love the most is the amazing community weve found within Mi Casita. It feels like a family! The teachers and staff are so caring, and weve become close with other Mi Casita families and have play dates/meetups with them often. I truly cant say enough about our experience here were going to be devastated when Cole has to leave for kindergarten!
