Instead of apologizing to feminists and social justice warriors, you should hold fast to the truth of the Gospel. Im sure you think you do that, but its not looking good. Recent sermons seem quite socially liberal. A prominent member of your Church is running for Mayor as a democrat. Amazing, considering what the democratic platform stands for, moderate or not. I thought I had found a Church that stands for the historical and Biblical message of Christ, but its becoming increasingly obvious that this Church is just another in the long line of defunct organizations. The PCA is dying, just as the PCUSA, and MANY others already have. You would think they would learn, but the god of this age is incredibly strong. I understand that youre located within the very bowels of Philadelphia, but you must come out from among them, and be separate. I only wish the best for you and the PCA. I pray sincerely for Gods will to be done. Im sure it will.

Hi Aaron,As it presently stands, we have permission from the city to park in the bike lanes for worship services. This agreement has been in place, with small variations, since the bike lanes were first installed more than a decade ago. The rules we impose on our congregation are already stricter than the rules imposed by the city. When those rules are broken, we regularly leave notes, but we have no enforcement power. We support the recommendations the Bicycle Coalition made in 2015, including increased enforcement and better signage, but the city has not yet been interested. If you'd like to dialog further on this, feel free to reach out: 215.735.7688 or [email protected]

Hello,We're not sure what you're referring to, particularly in terms of which sermons you're speaking of. Also, none of the mayoral or council candidates on the ballot are members of our church, though three mayoral candidates for the primary--all of whom lost--live in our neighborhood and Tenth is their polling place. It should also be noted that the last election to elect a non-democrat for mayor was in 1947, and therefore many Philadelphians believe the the only way to participate is to register as a democrat.
