Prunella

We (2) ate here on a Friday night, about 9p.m. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to take us immediately for outside seating. Our server, Webster, was fantastic! Very friendly, polite, patient and attentive! (Thank you for the complimentary meatballs. Not necessary, but greatly appreciated!) The food was terrific. Very fresh, tasty and filling. We had whipped ricotta, meatballs, roasted artichokes, and the special pizza (Spring Piggy.) Everything perfect! My drink of choice was Spa Water (non-alcoholic) and I liked that there were options w/out alcohol that weren't just plain water or soda. It was very flavorful and refreshing. We felt the prices were very reasonable. I can't really speak to atmosphere, as we ate in the tent outside. What we saw of inside was nice, though it is a small space. Bathrooms were clean and nicely appointed. Hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Other staff also was on point. This restaurant was recommended to us by my son.

I like their happy hour! But do NOT order through door dash. This was $30. Half tried pasta. Ill stick to dining in, very disappointing

A cool vibe, but misses the mark for authentic good tasting Italian. The amatriciana had no flavor or kick. It tasted like a watery Marinara with spices thrown in to disguise its blandness.. The bar staff never asked us how any of our meals were and didnt even pour our wine after the first glass was poured despite us buying a bottle. Beets were ok and Pizza was best part. Hard to mess up pizza. Better places for sure sadly disappointed Of course they come quick when you ask for check.. think our bartender was under the influence. Slow as molasses

Visiting Philadelphia over Easter. Ended up at Prunella Sunday afternoon. The Honey Fitzgerald cocktail was amazing! Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next. I just loved everything about it!
