        I wouldnt waste my time. It took them 3 weeks to give me any form of new information. They didnt keep me in the loop throughout the process. As a matter of fact, I had to constantly call to figure out what was happening. Every time I called Rebecca was always on a call or in a meeting. She never called me back, I had to call her back because she didnt respond from my previous call. I didnt feel like I was a priority and after all this headache during this painful time, they didnt take on my case. She left a voicemail to tell me this information and said she was off for the day, but gave me her personal cell. I called it three times throughout the day and left a voicemail and she has yet to call me back.

      Ms. Zimmerman,I was sorry to hear that you were not pleased with our case review process involving the assessment of your interactions with the medical providers who provided care to you. Although we did not undertake your representation, we provided a free intake consultation to assess the merits of your case; we sent out the required tort claim notification to the state on your behalf; and after a firm case management meeting (which included our on-staff doctor/lawyer) we sent a 3 page letter to you detailing the investigation we had undertaken in connection with your case and explaining the complex medical and legal issues that factored into our decision to decline your representation. There was no charge to you for any of these activities.Medical malpractice cases implicate complex medical and legal issues and take time to review. We attempt to provide clients with informed medical/legal information, and we describe to the client, in writing, the reasons for our decisions not to proceed forward with their representation. We do NOT send out boilerplate turndown letters as many firms do. I understand that, from your perspective, you waited several weeks for a decision as to whether we were accepting your case or not. We should have been more responsive to you during that review period. Please understand that we get many client inquiries every day, and we try to give every case a good look. In your case, it took us several weeks to have your case researched and analyzed by our team, including our on-staff physician-attorney.
