Over the years in Philly there has been a tradition of subcultural nightlife events that have been handed down from club to club to club, The Dolphin is where its at right now. This is a refined dive bar/club hybrid that attracts a great crowd + always has excellent programming with a ton of variety on the calendar. The staff is absolutely terrific & exceptional & welcoming. Vegetarian options: Not a restaurant Parking: Street parking available - sometimes it takes a little time. Kid-friendliness: Not for children. 21+ Wheelchair accessibility: Small single step to get into/exit the club.

Spent $15 for an abbarama night with some friends and it was quite crowded, hard to dance, and people just kept shoving past my group. Could not go uninterrupted for 5 mins without someone pushing by. Also had a weak and v sour frozen margarita. And then something smelt like it was burning? Weird night but thats my experience thus far with Dolphin and I had heard so many great things about this place.

This is my favorite spot. Easily. But its astonishing, the service you get if they think youre drunk.
