I hope this is the same company - I was dealing with Loan Depot in California, with area code 949. I think it depends on your assigned processor or luck. My processor kept losing documents. I sent them tax returns and they hadnt opened them 3 months later. They kept asking for the same info over and over They asked my current mortgage co for a payoff balance before they had reviewed all my documents. The managers refused my request to transfer my loan to another processor. They did not return calls. The sales guy even tried to get involved. A totally screwed up mess. I am reporting them to the regulatory authorities - everything is documented - and would recommend that others do the same. We finally got it one - only 3 months! - with the help of a vice president. However, I just discovered that Loan Depot does not allow automated monthly payments. What century are we living in?
