In my opinion, you should not use Crosscountry mortgage. Once you have closed your mortgage there's nobody to answer your calls or questions. They direct you to mail checks or pay online. But if you have had your checks stolen out of the mail and lost thousands of dollars and had to redo all your bank accounts they don't seem to care. Their old phone pay system charged $10 and if you needed to talk to a human it would take an hour on hold but eventually you could talk to someone. They switched to a "new" loan servicing company (still called Crosscountry though) where you can literally try *every* option on their phone tree for hours and *never* reach a human to answer a question for you. They will bump you back to square one or direct you online all day. I don't want another hackable account online tied to my finances. I want to talk to a person who can answer my question so I can pay my mortgage. You are making hundreds of thousands of dollars from me and you can't even be bothered to treat me with a little dignity? You sure answered phones when you wanted my loan. But now nothing? "Wham Bam; Thank You Ma'am"? Is that all my business means to you? If you're in the market for a loan my advice is to look somewhere other than Crosscountry. Find someone who cares about your business before *and* after they get your mortgage.
