Il Ghiottone

Came here many times and was one of our favorite neighborhood spots. This last trip was not so great. Two employees were actively smoking cigarettes in plain view while we were eating our entrees at 8:45pm. When I asked the server if this was a smoking restaurant, I was told, The boss decided to have a cigarette and its the end of the night. My wife and I are not sure we will be back.

We went for my birthday celebration It was everyone's first time going to ll Ghiottone and this cute cozy Italian restaurant did not disappoint. The staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. I will definitely be back Ps my only request is I would like real butter for my bread

This is a genuine Italian family run restaurant. I ordered takeout a few weeks ago. Overall had an easy enough experience calling / picking up. The place seemed nice, cozy and staff was welcoming. The only negatives here is that despite the food generally was good (ordered a Carbonara and a seafood ravioli) the Carbonara was lumpy (had some egg) and overall just felt like it wasnt the best. Perhaps an off night but I expected more flavor / saltiness. I was pleased that the meal came with plenty of bread at no cost. Meatballs were excellent! Looking forward to sitting down here soon.
