This was our first experience with a PHP for our 13 year old daughter. The fact that these kids have their own room that they can sit and isolate in for hours is disturbing. My daughter had a setback a week and a half in and when I finally got through to her therapist (after trying the on call many times) her immediate response was well we are going to recommend residential and they immediately discharged her from their program. Her seat wasnt even cold yet! Then going back over her discharge paperwork there is barely any information but says all goals met. What a joke. I expected way more from this highly regarded program and am severely disappointed. ****Edited to say that we were contacted by Megan, the director. Megan addressed our concerns and told us that things would be addressed so that things wont fall through the cracks in the future.

After my assessment (over 3 weeks ago) I was told I needed to do inpatient for ED. Not that they called to let me know, I called them back to check on the outcome. Havent heard back since. I called & left 2 messages. The last call, the person who answered said she was so confused why they hadnt gotten back to me. She tried calling the ED location & said they did not answer so shed leave a message for them to contact me. That was 5 days ago. Ive been in treatment numerous times & the facilities have been in constant contact until I was there, sometimes annoyingly so but they were obviously invested in my health & recovery, unlike Rogers. This same thing happened a few years ago after being accepted for ED inpatient. After medical stabilization I went to OPC and they were amazing.

We were initially having diifiulty with the admission processs, but when Rogers became aware of this, the Director reached out personally to apologize and help. Very understanding and helpful with an excellent reputation.

i think in the grand scheme of behavioral health for minors this isnt the worst program out there. however looking back on my 7 week stay doctor jonathan barton (the psychiatrist) was by far the worst medicine management ive ever received, especially considering he was treating young children. as well depression therapist Caitlyn participated and fueled petty, painful, and mean rhetoric against myself with fellow clients, and then proceeded to try and put me responsible for her clients feeling invalidated by her. her response to conflict (she fueled) was immature, defensive and did not hold herself responsible to the extent of her impact. before you discredit my evaluation i elected myself to be put in a higher level of care, i was never reluctant to be in treatment. i thought i could leave this program and take her apology and forget the misconduct that took place however i found out more misconduct surrounding caitlyn a mouth after discharging so i felt compelled to write this. overall i can not say i recommend rogers for teen depression treatment, however for there other programs i can not comment.
