image i can’t give loretta enough stars. i LOVE this women and i hope she sees this. i have seen psychiatrists since i was a child… i have never found one that was the right fit. loretta is incredible.. compassionate.. and just so human. she treats you with dignity.. really listens and most of all.. tries to understand your perspective so she can empathize better. my boyfriend overheard some of our zoom call and said “wait.. what was your psychiatrist? it sounded like you where speaking to a friend”. i am so lucky that my friend recommended Rittenhouse psychiatry to me after a long journey of never finding the right fit. if you’re looking for one and in a rough spot like i was / am in.. i can’t recommend this place enough.

image I just want to say that Elizabeth Wray has been the best mental health provider I have ever had. I recently switched providers after a friend (one of her current patients) referred me to her. She also said many nice things about Elizabeth and the practice. Elizabeth took time to listen to my symptoms and showed compassion for my needs. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found such an all-around great provider. I Definitely recommend Elizabeth!

image I had a great experience working with Dr. Hanley to receive an ADHD diagnosis! He was very kind and responsive and had a warm affect even over video chat. He provided me with the resources after my diagnosis and a path to move forward. The fee was $500 which I felt was fair, especially because getting into other practices proved difficult. Very grateful that I was able to get a diagnosis quickly!

image I’m posting under a different name (totally made up) for my own privacy, just as an FYI to the practice.
As a patient who has been to many Psychiatric practices and under the care of various mental healthcare professionals before, my review has nothing to do with the personality of the CRNP I met with virtually or the staff- In fact, scheduling was super easy and I was pleased with the process. EW was actually very friendly, however , my concerns lie with the ethics and approach of her work or maybe the practice itself.
Patients should be listened to and medication should NEVER be the go to resort and immediate expected method of treatment. 95% of my session was about the medication which was told I needed it within 10 mins of my session. She didn’t SEEM to care much about my history,‘specific events or provide me with any other coping mechanisms to deal with my condition. The Nurse Practitioner seemed more like a Sales Rep. for Big Pharma then someone who is patient focused.
So my question to the practice is: Are you here to provide patient’s with a strategy tailored to the individual’s needs, which MAY (for some) include medication or are you just here to sell meds to people who may not need them? If not, perhaps you better have a chat with Miss W. and ask her to provide alternatives that just say “you’re anxious, I got the product for you!”.
Perhaps she should become lobbyist? She would do well. I would know, I’m a local politician.

image Never Again. I tried this place as everywhere that is in my network has a extremely long waiting list for evaluations. Setting an appointment was fairly easy, everything else was a cash ridden nightmare. My "eval" appointment was a zoom meeting in which I was overtalked the WHOLE time. I was given a rx during the appointment and tol how bad my current meds are making my symptoms worse, and even may cause seizures. (What a great thing to tell someone who already had TERRIBLE anxiety disorder. ) I felt that the new rx rittenhouse would give would help my ADHD, nope... My appointment ended with me getting a new rx and pushed to try to switch doctors from my pcp. 2 days later i picked up the rx from my local drugstore and went back to Rittenhouse's patient portal to review the dr.s instructions, and to my surprise, the note section was empty. I messaged in to ask for it, only to be told I had to pay $25, after I'd already paid for a $300 zoom call! So I paid for the dr's notes , only to be told by my med advocate that they're insufficient as they only list the things I said, no actual evaluation results! go figure! I then made the office aware that I was back to work and couldnt keep my appointment, well before the 48 hour cutoff, only to be charged $125 for a missed appointment. Everything costs with this place, and I never once felt like the provider cared or was intrested in anything other than money, no check ins or even followup from office to see if I had questions about anything. One thing they will do faithfully.... take your money. I Will NOT be returning, giant waste of time, effort and money.
