If you're looking for a job that's Exciting, Career-building, Pays well and Offers benefits... this IS NOT the place!!
The quality of life here is VERY poor...
1. the building is dark, even if the florescent lights are turned "ON" inside; it's brighter outside!!
2. there is radiant heat near the back of the "machines" and in other work areas, but everywhere else is damn COLD!! Dress for the weather.
3. the "Break Room" is a mess and has mice droppings everywhere (wash your hands!!). The bathrooms are frightening for men and women!
4. everything is covered in dust, so be careful what you brush up against. I hope you didn't wear something expensive.
5. radios? pfft... good luck, those machines have extremely high voltages, amps and wattage's, they'll literally stop radio signals during thee "heat sealing" process. Hope you have unlimited cellphone data for music your gonna need it.
5. you better FOCUS on the plastic rolls the machine your operating is pulling. If any of them run out and thee IRREPLACEABLE Die contacts the Aluminum plate... one of TWO things are gonna happen.
A. you see that magical grey smoke and frantically press the PANIC button to shutdown the whole machine. The Die has a hole in it and Stan is PISSED. If you're lucky, he'll assign you to another machine for a different order while he attempts to fix your screw-up; otherwise you're fired because you're too distracted, a liability, and they CANT replace the Die you broke.
B. the IRREPLACEABLE machine that's older than you've been alive BLOWS UP and you end up in a hospital... and if it wasn't already obvious, you were FIRED as you left the building in an ambulance.
6. bring your own lunch you got 30 minutes to eat, the restaurant choices in the area are limited to a Pizzeria, a Chinese take-out, a Corner Store, Royal Farms gas station; and if you have a car and are fast enough... Wawa, Chick-fil A, or Micky D's down Aramingo Ave.
IF by some Miracle you manage to make it till the end of the day, I guarantee you'll be looking for a better work place ASAP.
Most of the people working here are nice, a LIL' crazy (some more than others)... probably from years of radiation exposure the machines produce; most are here to work till retirement others have no aspirations or goals.

PS... forgot to mention, this job is BORING as all hell, AND there are NO WINDOWS to see outside, cell reception on the ground floor is bad until you exit the building.
