I could not recommend J. Thom enough. I had the pleasure of working with Jenn Marianni on multiple projects. She is such a dynamic designer, being able to create exactly the vision I had in my head (and then some!). I have two extraordinary spaces thanks to JThom!

We have worked with Jason on the Kater St. projects on this site. We have hired him again and again. As you can see, he is fantastic. What sets J.Thom apart is Jason's multidisciplinary approach. He combines architectural design, aesthetics, and procurement, all in one person. If separate architects are involved, he helps to tweak what they plan, and supervises how the contractors execute. He puts forward several choices and helps you decide. He has excellent taste, and if you let him he will experiment --- with great results. He is also a good advocate when contractors are not as invested in perfection as you are. His staff are attentive, but the buck stops with him. We will use Jason again, for sure.

My husband and I hired J. Thom last spring to help us design our new kitchen. We were originally going to do an IKEA kitchen, but after our first visit and consultation at the J. Thom showroom we were sold on the quality of products that they use, their expertise in planning, design and insight for product sourcing. Not only did they take all of our needs into consideration with the design and build of our kitchen, but they saw the project through to completion. Which was appreciated when issues arose. They quickly problem solved and at the end we have a kitchen thats better than what we expected and enjoy being in everyday.

We collaborated with Jenn from J.THOM during our renovation and we were able to transform our newly purchased house into our dream home! Being new to completing a project of this scale, our top priority was to find a designer who would listen and provide honest transparency throughout the entire process. Jenns level of engagement was outstanding and we were extremely appreciative of Jenns ability to continuously improve (esthetically and practically) on the original plans while staying within budget. Jenns constant communication and willingness to be onsite made it easy for our family to spend the majority of the renovation overseas. Jenn was present for every delivery and made certain that everything was made to perfection. Having somebody we could trust and know had our best interest in mind was critical to the overall success. We returned home to something far beyond our expectations. With plans to renovate other areas of our home in the future, we looking forward to working with Jenn and J. Thom again! My wife and I swore that we would never buy a fixer-upper. And then we found a house with the perfect yard, perfect location, and a need for some serious love. After living with it for about two years, we couldnt live with it anymore. Through a mutual friend, we reached out to J Thom, and thats where our relationship with Jason and Courtney began. Jason and Courtney were extremely warm and patient as we waded in to possibly the largest renovation project that we will ever undertake. We didnt quite have the vision for where we wanted to go, but we knew that we needed to go! Jason and Courtney explained the process to us, listen to our desires, give us honest and clear feedback, and brought us to a design that has truly changed the way that we use our house. Through regular check-ins, technology driven visuals, and a clear desire to exceed our expectations, J Thom couldnt have been more effective. Courtney quarterbacked the process from a day-to-day perspective. She willingly interfaced with the appliance component, standalone material procurement, and a team of wonderful contractors who executed upon her expert design. When we would encounter an outcome that did not meet our expectations, Courtney was more than happy to work with us to get it right. Courtney was extremely diligent, accountable, professional, and excited to work with us! We are in love with our new kitchen, mudroom, laundry room, powder room and dining room thanks to Courtney, Jason, and J Thom for delivering an exceptional upgrade to our home!
