Stayed her for wrestlemania weekend, hotel was lovely, staff so friendly and helpful

This is a lovely hotel but they are grossly understaffed. They only ever had either 1 or no people at all on the front desk. The staff would do their best and were very helpful but just simply overwhelmed. The phone would be ringing off the hook whilst one person dealt with a queue of 6-7 people. As nice a hotel as it is, they just don't simply have the staff.

Sat at the bar today for some breakfast and the man behind the bar was commenting to the bartender on how attractive he found some men there. what I would do to the man in the ponytail isnt what I wanted to hear as im trying to enjoy my breakfast. I almost vomited my eggs. How degrading and very uncomfortable that experience was and more so unprofessional.

Seems this place has spiraled into a horrible establishment ran by unmannerly and harsh management. I have stayed at Le Meridean more than I can count. Even when in town and I stay elsewhere I still stop in for drinks with good ol Joe, and an affordable hearty breakfast with one of my favorite servers Tanya. Although not staying here on this trip I had a colleague of mine stay here as we were catching up when I can hear this woman speaking in such a disgusting tone to the staff at the front desk. Yelling about them not knowing the runners were in town, they need to do a better job at finding these things out along with saying she doesnt care about anything but her car and her having to move. I stay here and chooses to spend my money here because the staff feels like family. They are always so accommodating and genuine to myself, my family and elderly parents. I asked around to know who this person was to only find out it was their new general manager. This women was mean, arrogant and domineering. I can not for the life of me see how management can speak to staff in such a way. Speaking to my colleagues they noticed a shift in comfortability here the last few weeks. I hope this hits the right people and this woman who seems to be running the show isnt ruining it any longer.
