This place was an adorable, historic charm! Within walking distance or a quick uber ride to many things to do, even outside of Philly. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The whirlpool tub was enjoyable. The restaurant/wine bar was amazing. And staff were all so nice and accommodating. Antonio was just a gem! Will definately book again.

Just lovely. The Liberty Bell is a 10-minute walk, which I did yesterday, during which I passed by the Museum of Illusions. They have an Italian restaurant located in the hotel lobby that I didn't visit, but the menu selection looks wonderful. The muffins provided for breakfast look, feel, and taste fresh baked, and the coffee is very good, which I know since I drink it black. The room is clean, aside from a few stray hairs that could have come from the cleaning lady/man. The service is outstanding, over the phone, and in person. The check out time is naturally at noon, which is delightful, and they even lock the front doors at sundown, which I assume is to keep the homeless/junkies out. After all, we are in Philly, lol. It's a decent neighborhood with a multitude of eateries and transportation in walking distance, and a map of the city with the common attractions is provided to you at the front desk. I am beyond satisfied with choosing this hotel! Now excuse me while I get more coffee and another muffin lol. Thank you so much for helping to make my birthday trip a success!!! Rooms: Clean and well designed. I love the rustic feel. Nearby activities: Liberty Bell, Museum of Illusions Safety: They lock the front door at sundown. Ring the bell to get in. Walkability: Very. Buses and transit near by as well as taxis. Food & drinks: Features an Italian restaurant in the lobby and provides free, fresh breakfast coffee and muffins. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby Noteworthy details: The customer service is absolutely wonderful.
