Drew and his team just completed a powder room update, removed my awnings and added a few outlets. They were always on time, professional, and clean! You'd never know that they sanded or cut into the plaster as there was never a mess. When Drew came for the initial walk-through, he actually talked me out of two projects I thought I had to do and offered very helpful advice. He is honest and his pricing is fair. I have already recommended him to multiple friends and neighbors who have hired him as well. Do yourself a favor and hire Lemon Hill Builders! Working with Drew and his team has been a fantastic experience. We had planned a small bathroom remodel, which turned into a much larger project when they discovered serious structural issues with our roof and walls. Drew kept this from turning into a nightmare! We knew exactly what was happening, what our options were going to be, how much things would cost, and when work would be completed. The guys were like something out of a "how things used to be in the good old days" reminiscence too: showed up right when they said they would every day, worked crazy hard, were super respectful of us and our house throughout. And the finished bathroom is perfect. We got exactly what we wanted, for a really fair price, and with an insane attention to detail. I never thought our little South Philly bathroom could look this luxurious! We can't say enough good things, and wouldn't even consider hiring anyone else for our next major project. I used Lemon Hill Builders for my kitchen and full bath reno in South Philly, and had a WONDERFUL experience! Drew was communicative, his team was professional and kind, and I feel like they came to really understand my style; throughout the process, we'd go back and forth about certain decisions, and he'd make recommendations that showed me he saw what I was going for. It's such a joy to cook in this now-wide-open, colorful, unique kitchen! And I love getting compliments on the barhrooms's soothing vibe Can't recommend Lemon Hill Builders enough. I honestly can't wait to bring them in for another project! Its taken me a while to write this review because I wanted to do justice to Lemon Hill Builders. Me and my husband were nervous about our first major project in our house ( a bathroom remodel) and Andrew, the owner, was a dream to work with from day one. He and his crew are cut above the rest for the following reasons: 1. Andrew keeps in communication with you daily. There were no no call no shows and when a problem arises he made sure to talk to us immediately. When we needed a meeting to discuss the project he was always willing to meet, and showed a genuine interest in our concerns and valued our input. 2. Andrew and his crew showed complete professionalism throughout the project. They prepped our house that that the dust and dirt in other parts of the house was kept to a minimum. They were polite and cool guys to talk to. They cleaned up the days dust every day. And, when they say they show up to work every day ON TIME. 3. The level of work is incredible. Our bathroom is beautiful. It looks like something out of a magazine. I wont go into detail, but we chose a tile that had a strange pattern, so cutting it to accommodate three walls in our bathroom would be hard to do. Lemon Hills tile work is on point. Period. 4. There was complete transparency about pricing. I dont really think I can say anything more about this, because its awesome in and of itself. Drew gave us a thorough document of how everything was being priced and why. That reminds me, trustworthiness is off the charts with these guys. 5. Collaboration is very high in the working relationship with you and Andrew. This was very important for us because we were overwhelmed with the scope of the project before we hired Lemon Hill. Andrew worked with us throughout every step. I hope this review helps. We are definitely going to use Lemon Hill Builders for future projects. And I think you should too! We've used this outfit for a number of different jobs from big ticket to small handyman stuff... they just left after putting in a new back door. Our first experience with them was with redoing the whole outside of our house. It was a big job. They tore down and replaced our "Buttouts(?)", I don't even know what they are called, then fixed the roof, then fixed back windows that were leaking. All great work and reasonably priced. They did that so well we had them come back and do the inside. Dry walling and painting the whole interior, then sealing our basement(moisture, leaks, etc..). Always professional, reliable, good pricing, and most of all they stand behind the work! We've worked with many different contractors over the years and finding a good one is a challenge. I would recommend them to anyone. The only downside when you have a good contractor is they may not be available, they're too damn busy. Beg to get them, it's what I did, LOL.
