I totally enjoyed working with Stagestep!
I got the name from the Tap for PD instructor, a zoom class. What a thrill to tap again after 50 years. Excellent exercise that is fun. I was hooked and wanted a safe stable practice board, not some piece of plywood from Lowes that would ruin my floors and risk a fall. And I didnt want to have to put something together every time.
Explored the website but still unsure so I called and got a real person right away who understood what I needed. And delivery was very quick. The board is one piece with built-in handle. It is resilient so less stress on legs and nicely padded so safe for any floors from wood or vinyl to carpet. Very easy to move around. I keep it in an upstairs bedroom tucked between a piece of furniture and the wall and just plop it down to use. So easy and sound doesnt echo thru the house. Another use is as a stable foundation for block building with my grandson!

I cant attest to the product yet because the whole process has been a complete shamble on Stage Steps end. First the first round of Marley was cut incorrectly, then we were completely ignored about any sort of reimbursement for the wasted day from our contractor and loss of revenue that we have been without flooring for over a month from original installation date. Then tape was never sent. Then the zip code I had asked to be corrected, never was so part of the order was lost. Then the second round of marley gets in, after me asking several times for tracking info for the missing items, purposely left off our order when we asked for everything needed to install be included, without telling us it was being left off, STILL didnt arrive. The communication has be dismissive, borderline rude and inaccurate. Karen Flannegan is either overworked or does a poor job. Replace or hire help, Stagestep. Im still now responsible for shipping back the incorrect marley from Texas to Pennsylvania! Without any offer or consolation for the major mess ups from this company. Maybe the product works well by PRAY you dont have any issues or have to deal with customer service.

Our performing arts center began using the StageStep Dance Floor this year, a remarkable modular dance floor system that exceeded all my expectations. Not only was it incredibly easy to assemble, but its storage convenience (with four StageStep push carts) was truly a game-changer.
I was impressed by its sturdy construction and high-quality materials. The modular design, with its interlocking panels, made assembly a breeze. No tools or complicated instructions were needed; it was simply a matter of connecting the panels together, just like a puzzle. The pieces fit snugly, ensuring a seamless and secure dance surface.
One of the standout features of this dance floor system is its versatility. The size of the floor can be customized thanks to the modular design. Whether I needed a smaller to fit in a 230-seat Blackbox theater, or the 930-seat proscenium, I could easily add or remove panels to create the perfect dance floor size.
The ease of assembly was matched by the system's effortless storage capability. Disassembling the dance floor was just as simple as setting it up. The panels neatly stacked together on 4 carts, taking up minimal space. This was a massive advantage, especially when dealing with limited storage areas. I appreciated how the compact design allowed me to store the dance floor system without any hassle
Overall, I can confidently say that the modular dance floor system exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of assembly and storage convenience. Its versatility features make it an outstanding choice for professional use, whether it is for a ballet company, modern dance, or tap. I wholeheartedly recommend the modular dance floor system to anyone in need of a reliable, easy-to-assemble, and conveniently storable dance floor solution.
