British Imperial Cleaners

A horror show. I dropped off a full length cashmere overcoat for dry cleaning and when I went to claim it, the owner said it was "lost". I gave it a month for them to relocate it, but when that did not happen I made an offer of compensation for1/10th its replacement value, plus a full year of free service. The owner counter-offered for half my request. When I offered to split the difference, she refused. I then closed negotiations, went back top my original offer, and indicated the date when I would file a police report and open a claim in small claims court. The day before that date, now two months after dropping it off, she "found" the coat. A friend "lost" a suit in the same manner. Beware of taking valuable items to this operation. I had droped dry clean at this cleanerbut when I went to pick that clothesI lost one pair of pants and couldn't wear one because the clothes shrunk. The owner is a strange laundromat who doesn't call, answer, or take responsibility.
