GRIT CONSTRUCTION

I bought a house built by GRIT Construction in 2018 and it has been a wonderful home for my family. We did have a few issues with water intrusion and even though the builder warranty expired for several years, GRIT and especially their star employee Blake, showed that they stand behind their construction and their homes. Blake did a thorough inspection of the situation, provided a hands on solution and even recommended and set up additional work for future preventative measures to ensure our home was protected. I have had past homes where I had water intrusion and a contractor fixed it but no one had this level of determination as Blake; he even texted during subsequent heavy rain storms to see how it was going and if it was holding up. It is evident that he and GRIT care about their output with that added white glove service during a time when he should be with his family at night. GRIT absolutely stands by their product and a huge thank you to Blake for his professionalism! Would definitely recommend GRIT and their customer service and care.

I bought a house built by GRIT Construction in 2020 and have been happy with it, but recently I did discover some water damage. Despite being several years outside the warranty, I was able to easily get in touch with them and Blake was here to start working on it within a few hours. He kept me updated on what was going to be done and when. Blake doesn't miss any details. Within a few short days everything has been made right. GRIT stands behind their work.

GRIT constructed my home in 2022 and I have been extremely happy with the quality. Even more impressive is Blake. He was in-charge of all the warranty work at our property. He is professional and incredibly easy to reach and deal with. Whenever I have an issue he would come remedy it immediately. Even after the 1 year warranty, he would help answer any questions and even come out to help with a few issues! Bottom line, Blake and GRIT have been amazing and I would recommend them to everyone.

Grit Construction built our home in West Kensington/Fishtown about 3 years ago and we have been extremely pleased thus far. Our home is beautiful and the finishes/design choices far exceed what we have seen in many other new construction homes. The team at Grit, especially Blake, has been incredibly helpful throughout the time we have owned our home. My husband and I would absolutely recommend a home built by Grit.

The Grit team have outdone themselves by creating a house that is a thing of great beauty and a true work of art. Grit delivered a one-of-a-kind house that is a celebration of incredibly thoughtful architecture and careful selection of materials both new and reclaimed. The execution was near flawless and immediate attention was given to the very few loose threads that requiring trimming. The folks at Grit often looped me into text chains with subcontractors in order to streamline communications and enhance transparency, resulting in quick, quality results. The Grit team was also generous with documentation and opportunities to be trained on built-in technical systems, both of which were important value-adds. So congratulations again to the Grit team for a challenging job exceptionally well done!
