Oh, Community College of Philadelphias Main Campus? Its pretty legit. Right there on Spring Garden, its like this little city within the city. Youve got the Mint Building where all the serious admin stuff happens, and then theres the West Building where the future nurses and tech wizards are grinding away. The Pavilions got the bookstore and the spot to grab a coffee or a quick bite between classes. Bonnells where you hit up for student services or chill in the auditoriums. And dont even get me started on the Winnet Building thats the student life HQ! Clubs, support centers, you name it. Its not just about classes; its about community, and theres always something going on. Whether youre aiming for an associate degree or just knocking out some credits before transferring, CCPs got your back. Plus, its Philly, so you know the vibes are good.

They set you up for failure. They really dont care. And whats with the rooms with no circulation? Those stools in the labs? They dont tell you they went digital either.

School is an absolute joke. No standards here. I did a year at a different community college in Michigan a few years ago and the difference in quality across the board is confounding. But maybe this is just a symptom of a larger systemic problem across Philadelphia. Consistently frustrated with my experience here. And trying to schedule and appointment with ANY kind of advisor seems to not even be an option. I would recommend going somewhere else if you have the choice.

I'm a current student at CCP and I'm really loving my experience. Not sure why there's so many negative comments. I have many friends who started at CCP and went on to study at universities. Most of them preferred their education at CCP. The teachers are great. They really care about your success. Yes, the staff is a little ghetto and unbothered at times but the quality of education is just as good as any other school.
