About
Blind Barber

The barbershop used to be more than just a place to get a haircut or shave; it was a hub of the community where people came together to bond, to socialize and to exchange ideas. With the goal of bringing this camaraderie back in style, Blind Barber, a barber shop and parlor with locations in New York, NY, Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY, has created a concept that goes well beyond cuts and shaves. By cultivating a men's grooming line, an influential voice, and multiple destinations, Blind Barber has expanded into all realms of the modern man: grooming, cocktails, fashion, and lifestyle.# StayHandsome

image Finally got to check this place out on a random late Sunday evening after many attempts/always long lines. Well the lines must be the kids who just want one drink and a photo for the gram la Tinsel as this reminded me of the ill fated Vesper club with it's cheesy 'speakeasy' decor and a promise of great crafted cocktails that never delivered. The drinks/offerings are quite limited as is the actual bar itself. Case in point, no garnishes/citrus/cherries, I probably rattled off 15 classic cocktails they couldn't make because they were missing basic ingredients or didn't know how... and then in desperation when I saw a drink on the menu that had Lillet Blanc I asked for a spritz with it and the bartender apologized profusely that everything is already pre-batched and they don't even have Lillet on site. I was VERY confused, I've had better drinks and selection of spirits at a local watering hole, save your $$ and go elsewhere because this place ain't it.

image The Blind Barber is a hidden gem in the heart of Philadelphia. This speakeasy-style bar is tucked away behind a barbershop front, which adds to the allure of the experience. The atmosphere is hip and cool, with vintage decor and low lighting that creates a cozy and intimate setting.
The cocktail menu is creative and unique, with plenty of options to choose from. Whether youre in the mood for a classic cocktail or something more experimental, the bartenders are skilled and knowledgeable and can craft the perfect drink for you.
The service at the Blind Barber is top-notch, with friendly staff who are attentive and personable. They make you feel right at home and are always willing to help you navigate the menu or make recommendations.
All in all, the Blind Barber is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a cool and unique drinking experience in Philadelphia. With its hidden location, creative cocktails, and friendly staff, its the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a intimate date night. Highly recommended.
