        On the first real hot day this year, my car started overheating and the a/c wouldnt work. Its a 2002 beetle, so Im always nervous that any kind of repair is going to be expensive. I called Marinos and was able to bring it in within the hour. I told him what was going on and he seemed confident he could fix it. It ended up just being a simple connection issue with the radiator fan, and he was able to fix it that day. He only needed to charge me an hours labor, and he asked to keep it over the weekend to be able to drive it and make sure everything was in working order. I honestly just called the closest shop to my house, and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of service.

      Hello Mr Clark , sorry about the misunderstanding. I looked up your invoice dated 1/6/23. according to our records the car was scanned and physically diagnosed for a misfire and no work to repair the misfire was authorized so the diagnostics were billed out at $45. and the car was released. To my knowledge all modern repair shops charge anywhere between $50 and $150 for basic diagnostics today because of the incredibly high cost of good equipment and a Class A certified technician to use it. I regret the confusion on your visit. Thank You and best of luck with your car.
