Extremely disappointed with my experience with both the previous and new management at lofts 640. Since my lease wrapped up at the end of February, I asked many times to close my utility account and provide me with my security deposit in which they kept giving me the run around and are continuing to do so. I will now have to resort to taking legal action. Im so glad I left this apartment and would encourage you all to not lease here.

UPDATE: After experiencing stellar service from the Management at Lofts 640, I was deeply disappointed by how long it has taken to fix the hot tub, as well as the pool. The hot tub has been out of order since October 2023, and we have experienced nothing but pushback on the date that fit should be fixed. After attempting to address the situation, as well as the absurd amenity fee we were charged, we just continue on getting hit with different excuses as to why these facilities are unavailable. Now that its January 2024, the pool is broken and the same thing is happening. Every update we received (2 official updates in total overs the span of 4 months, as well as my own inquires) was just apologies and even further delays on the repair. I regret signing a lease with Lofts 640, because of their inability to deliver on their promises. FIRST REVIEW: After an unexpected delay to my move in date (a leak in the unit), I experienced prompt updates and accommodations from Logan and his manager. I am amazed at how quickly he was able to resolve my situation. The issue was resolved very quickly and efficiently. The customer service is nothing short of a luxury experience. Doorman and security guards are so kind! If you are looking for a rental where you are a valued customer I would highly suggest renting at Lofts 640!

Overall, it was a low-mid experience. Appliances were great, the zone is fine, and noise is going to be a problem no matter what in the city so I have no issues with that. Original cost at move-in was pretty great for an apartment with a spot. Maintenance was cool, and front desk staff were great. Where it starts to get pretty awful is windows that are poorly insulated due to this being a refurbished factory so air easily sips in and out. This results in the entire apartment having a poor A/C and heat experience. Sub 70 in the winter, high 80s in the summer, and a electric bill in the high 100s. 2nd, you technically do get a parking spot, but good luck trying to actually find a spot anytime post 9pm as it is overcrowded, and poorly maintained. They always warn 'Oh you'll get towed' but we all know a tow truck ain't making it inside so cars remain in even without a pass (that they keep changing every 4 months for whatever reason.) Decided to leave when the apartment rose rent by around $150, and said this nonsense wasn't worth the cost anymore, I can find better amenities for slightly lower the cost elsewhere, a parking structure that isn't insufferable, and a A/C unit where I can actually feel it working instead of being a noise machine in the background. Great decision.

Disgraceful organization in almost every way imaginable other than a handful of kind and helpful employees that work at the front desk. The pool and the hot tub have been out of commission so much of the time I lived here from 2018 - 2023 that I just assume they're closed on any given day. Waited 2 months for a new mailbox key despite following up regularly at one point. Water heater stops working so regularly that I bought a ladder so I can reset it myself instead of waiting 2 days for service. Asked them to replace it multiple times - no dice. A/C goes out multiple times a summer and the regional property manager, Ed Casella, tells you tough luck and offers no expedient help or resolution unless you persistently demand it. He once told me that he was going to go home and enjoy his night with his family and no one would be coming to help during a 90+ degree summer day knowing full well that I work from home and obviously wouldn't sleep that night. Yes, he actually said that and rubbed salt in the wound like a slumlord out of a Charles Dickens novel. My favorite part - they just emailed me threatening legal action against me because my utilities payment was three days late and didn't even call me before the threat. A lawyer would laugh in their face if they tried to pursue anything at that point. Paid in full and looking forward to moving out at the end of the month. Avoid all EBRM properties like the plague.
