The Onyx

I have lived at the Onyx for over a year now. I just had an issue where I wasnt in Philadelphia and my security cameras went blank around 6:30pm. I was concerned someone had broken in to my apartment. I called MGMT and even though it was after hours I spoke with Brian who was very helpful and within the hour they had gone to my apartment and checked inside and out. They sent me pictures of the cameras and were very communicative. I had also texted Andrew who was the leasing agent that I toured the apartments with and even he went over and checked my door was closed. Everyone has been very very helpful whenever there is an issue. Everyone has been super nice and attentive at MGMT. The Onyx is a great building. The apartments are big and the rent is very reasonable and there are no insane extra fees. Overall I have had a really good experience here and I would recommend.

No parking so their residents clog up the surrounding streets. The people that actually own their homes cant park near their own home because this company leeches off their neighbors.

Over the past three years, my wife and I have struggled with finding a good place to live and be close to work. We've explored quite a few neighborhoods in the Philadelphia area, but Roxborough was calling our name. Originally, we were looking to move into Lilac Pointe. However, a tour of the Onyx ensured that we would be here. While MGMT does own both properties, the newness of The Onyx drew us in, but the staff really solidified it. From the beginning, they have made everything work to assist us. During move-in, there were issues with the elevator, but they ensured that we could do so safely and quickly. Parking can be a hassle (as if it's not everywhere in Philadelphia), but they offer a garage. We have needed small things like fixing a cabinet, and larger projects too, but there is always a friendly face who shows up quickly to help. There is a sense of community here. Even though we are not able to participate all the time, there is always some event going on for residents. The staff is helpful, always happy to answer questions, and does their best for the residents. I'm very happy to be here, which is why we signed on for another year.
