Walnut Square Apartments

I lived here for a year and my lease just ended. I would've stayed but wanted to save money so I moved back home. I don't have anything negative to say about my time here. I wanted something that was reasonably priced, allowed dogs, in a central location, standard units (not necessarily luxury, but also not crappy), had maintenance staff and security after hours. This checked all those boxes. Tracy and her staff were always super friendly. Jose and the maintenance team were always very attentive and kind. They'd always say hi whenever they saw you and wanted to make sure any requests that came in, were taken care of. When it came time to renew my lease, Tracy was willing to not raise my rent and I was so close to biting the bullet and staying. But I knew saving money by moving back home made the most sense. My only issues with my actual unit were honestly things that come with living in the city. I had a few bugs (silverfishes, ew) and some bad smells but once I flagged that for maintenance, they were on it and never had a problem again. The staff would occasionally leave a basket of snacks and dog treats out for residents, which was a nice little touch. Although they allowed dogs, I never really heard any barking and my guy never had any issues with the other dogs around. All of the other residents we're also super friendly. I'd recommend living here to anyone.

Tracey and Jenna are amazing!! Ive had a couple landlord experiences during my time in Philly and these two are by far my favorite. Jenna got me into a great unit at an unbeatable price. Whenever I ran into a problem (which there werent many) Tracey resolved it within in the same day. Not to mention they are both great conversationalist, always looked forward to going into their office. Overall highly recommended, I refer them to many friends and family looking for an apartment in the city.

We had been searching for an apartment in the City. We found Walnut Square Apartments. The place is nice. Our apartment is very comfortable. Maintenance requests are handled in one business day. The managers are so nice. The building has such a great vibe to it. Even the other tenants are very friendly. I highly recommend Walnut Square Apartments.

Awful apartment! don't rent here and the absolute worst PMC property. Plenty of issues living here from roaches, mice, plumbing, wall peeling, rude management, no security at the front desk, and the list continues. This is the worst apartment building, I have ever lived and the manager doesn't care. I reported my issues numerous times and no one cared.
