Terrible service and management. 7 empty tables nobody in waiting area and yet the wait for 2 people was 45 minutes to an hour. Yeah no thanks terrible job by the host trying to do anything but work

Great food. It was really busy, and it took over an hour to get a table. But it was worth the wait. The next time I bring 20 people, I'll call ahead!

Today was our anniversary and I had gotten my husband a gift card for Texas Roadhouse. So we were excited to go to our favorite Texas Roadhouse in the area. Our waitress was so sweet and we really liked her. However, the manager is a whole different story! When the waitress swiped our gift card, we noticed that the $25 gift card didnt come off our bill. We told her about it and she got the manager. I had the receipt from the store I had just bought the gift card from and the activation receipt. She said she cannot honor the gift card because there wasnt any money on it and how could she know that we werent just lying to her! She said how would she know whether or not we already purchased food from Texas Roadhouse in the last two hours since I bought the gift card. She said to go back to the store and work it out with the store and she refused to honor it. So we left and then realized we forgot our receipt to show the store where we bought the gift card. My husband went back in the restaurant to get the receipt which the waitress had already thrown away. Asked manager for the receipt from the system. She said we never paid for our meal . Husband went out to car to get debit card to pay although he had already signed once for it. Manager said it didnt go through. Paid again. Headed home and I looked at our banking info and realized they charged us twice. So we paid over $80 for a meal that should have cost us less than $20 with the gift card. Went back to Texas Roadhouse to show the manager the double charges. She said she couldnt do anything about it and told us to call customer service. Unbelievable. First we are accused of trying to double up on the gift card which I hadnt ever thought of doingdidnt even know you could. Then we are double charged and sent on our merry way. Had to call two other numbers to get someone to help us. When we finally got the customer service, she looked up the gift card and it did indeed go through. As well as the 2 charges on our bank card. She did fix it for us and was very kind. Didnt understand why the manager couldnt help up out at the restaurant. So sad. This was supposed to be our 31st anniversary celebration. Also so sad because we remember a time when this particular Texas Roadhouse was run so well. We loved it there. We wont be going back again.
