Very clean, courteous and friendly service, and in a cute area just outside the hubbub of Hershey. Excellent value just as the name implies!

I really dont know what I was thinking. Cheaper thats what I was thinking. People, pay the extra $30 for a better place to sleep. There are several reasons. 1. Honestly, I dont really feel safe here. Its a fairly rundown looking motel on the side of a large, main road. Im supposed to meet family for dinner at 7 but I dont think I want to come back here alone when its dark. Im going to ask them to pick me up. Thats me. 2. The microwave. I actually packed a bowl of leftover homemade Mac and cheese from home, thinking I could heat it up for dinner (before I knew I was invited to go out). Im going to go ahead and say the microwave is probably clean but looking at the stains in this machine makes one wonder how often. 3. The heat. 1,000 degrees or 30, and no heat in the bathroom. The man in the office was kind enough but the free breakfast is in said office, about 8x12?? Im not good at gauging space but suffice it to say its quite small. Theres the main desk at one end and a counter that runs down the wall which had a toaster and a waffle iron. I guess its take and go; unless they set up some folding chairs in the parking lot. I took a few pictures of the tub/shower, the mattress cover, the microwave and the view from my window. Rooms: Temperature is impossible to regulate. Impossible. Safety: I dont feel safe in this motel. Food & drinks: Free breakfast is take and go from the tiny front office. If the cookware in the office is anything like the microwave in my room ?? Im not getting any breakfast here. Noteworthy details: This motel is not kept up at all. Things are gross. See pics.
