Our visit to the emergency department with my daughter, who was experiencing uncontrollable movements and personality changes, was extremely distressing due to the lack of care and professionalism. The attending physician made it clear that his role was limited to stabilization and dismissively suggested that we should have consulted our primary care provider instead. Despite the urgency of our concerns, there was a palpable rush to discharge her as quickly as possible. After insisting, the physician reluctantly contacted Danville, which agreed to admit her. It was only after being transferred and undergoing an MRI at Danville that we discovered she had brain inflammation caused by her prescription medication. Had we heeded the EDs advice to simply go home, the consequences could have been dire. I strongly advise against using this EDour experience was dangerously close to a tragic negligence. We will never again use a St. Luke's facility after this harrowing ordeal.

Went to ER today for severe knee pain n when Dr.Visperas came in, he said in a cocky voice "what do u expect me to do".. yes I've been having this pain for over a month n have seen other provider for it but I went today bc of severe pain n he didn't show compassion or kindness.. nurse n techs were nice.. very disappointed in dr..

Discharge nurse did not do good job of explaining how to take albuteral inhaler. Told me to just take two puffs without telling me to wait a minute or two between puffs. Did not go over papers and I read it thru later to discover I should see my family Dr for FU of my pneumonia. Said goodbye and and told me I could leave. Still connected to machine with leads. Was not impressed with my first visit to this ER!
