Jessa was a delight and life saver. Just imagine someone that doesn't know the difference between a plant and a tree. Well, that was me. Now, imagine me trying to trying to organize a large corporate event! I immediately felt relieved in her abilities and her enthusiasm made me even more confident in my decision to use Summerfield Designs. The event was a huge success and I can honestly say it has a lot to do with Jessa. Thanks Again,

The following is an honest review of my thoughts on my wife and mines interactions with Jessica, the owner of Sommerfield Designs. Before the pandemic, we chose Sommerfield Designs to help with our florist needs for our wedding. A budget-friendly alternative to many other florists in the area. Unfortunately, like many others, our plans were upended a few months later due to the pandemic and the constant changes to the ever-evolving restrictions. Luckily, we were able to work with our other vendors to reschedule our original contracts to a new date that would work with all involved. On the other hand, our interactions with Jessica turned sour during our conversations to reschedule. She was unwilling to reschedule or provide any flowers on our original wedding date. Since the venue did not allow weddings due to ongoing and ever-changing restrictions, she determined that she did not have to drop off flowers. We requested flowers for the deposited amount since she was unwilling to change the date. Keep in mind we had documented conversations that the amount we spent on flowers was always flexible and could be changed until a few weeks before the wedding date. Flowers still had not been purchased, and Jessica did not contact us to finalize arrangements. We tried several times to contact Jessica to make final arrangements and figure out what could be done with the wedding date. Jessica dragged her feet and did not act professionally. Jessica wanted to change the terms of our original agreement and have us pay more to change to a new date and provide a larger deposit on top of what we had already paid. At this point, she had every excuse, some valid and many absolutely insane, but was unwilling to work with her client, us. My wife has always been the level-headed one and tried everything to work with this vendor, but it seemed no agreements could be made to satisfy Jessica or ourselves. Ultimately, we did not receive our deposit of roughly $1,000. We spoke with our vendors about the situation, and her company is no longer a 'preferred vendor' at many local venues. From what I hear, the wedding industry is usually a tight-knit community. We decided to use the florist at Giant and used budget-friendly decorations from Michaels.
