Laura Lane Apartments

I would give this place a negative 5 if I could. The property manager Simon seems friendly at first, then he will just ignore you and stop returning calls. I had an issue where I was overcharged for rent through the website, I emailed and called and left voicemails for no answer. One morning I called him on my phone and he didnt answer, I then called him on my girlfriends phone right after and wouldnt you know it, he answered right away! I reported an issue I needed fixed to maintenance, then one day got a call saying hey this is maintenance can I come fix it right now? I told them no but I was off the following Monday they never called me back, the issue remained in my apartment through the rest of my stay. The current company that owns the property is not who I originally rented from. I rented my apartment, and it was sold to the company the currently operates it within two months of my moving in. After moving out, the new company tried to say according to our documents, your security deposit was $99 where can we send this to you. I would love to know where in the world you can rent an apartment and only put down a $99 security deposit. So in summary: Simon will seem friendly at first then ignore you; maintenance is more concerned with renovating empty apartments then helping people who currently live there, and in my personal experience getting my security deposit back was way more complicated then it needed to be. Do not rent from here.

I use to live at Laura Lane apt in the early 90s for 3yrs, apt C12. I like it but seeing the prices now is Ridiculously high you have no entities and the prices now don't reflect the space or living experience. SMH

I'm trying to get ahold of the leasing office but unfortunately, it's only open 7.5 hours a week..? I'm interested in inquiring information about applying but not sure how to go about it as I'm in work during their call hours. Any suggestions?

I have lived at Laura Lane Apts.for over one year and love it. Simon the new manager is great and he has really done a lot of work here. It was a real dump before with trash overflowing at dumpsters and trash all over the grounds. He is excellent and takes care of problems when they occur. I love being able to be close to Elmwood Zoo and love it when they have events with music for the kids and adults. I am lucky you have a comfortable apartment and it is quiet most the time. Laura Lane is right near the Schuylkill River Trail and I ride my bicycle on trail down to Philsdelphia on trail and stop in Manayunk for lunch or head to Phoenixville to dine at fitzwater station. I love being able to do this. Thank you Laura Lane management for giving us a nice paved parking lot this week. It is beautiful. And we will all have assigned parking. Also I am happy we will have to use a key to get into apartment building from outside. I like that to keep us safe.
