This place has always been a safe haven for me and looking back on my life I didn't have many places that I felt like that. I knew when I walked in those doors my fight the Run was over. It's sad to say, but at the same time it's not it's the world I choose to live in(the life style is what I choose) I am truly grateful for the staff and nurses here and I could remember the bed sideanor and how caring that Doctor was who owned it. I believe his wife is still alive. She did a walk thru the last time I was there if I have my dates right it was 2017! Thank you for never selling and always having empathy for our cause. The only name I can remember is Linda. She would catch me every night leaving early to get to that long med line. Once again I am so grateful to have had every experience I had there from 19 to 47 years of agay I am clean and doing well living out in Arizona and hoping to move very soon.

If I could give Valley Forge Medical Center a zero I would. I have been to my fair share of rehabs and all were pretty amazing until this one...dirty, staff carelessness place. I went in on a Thursday and by Saturday I was soooo sick. I begged the nurses to test me for covid and then refused until finally Monday night....and yes I had covid. The first day I arrived I shared with case management of my want and need due to home issues of being transferred to a long term rehab after my stay. The morning of my discharge date I was told no other rehab would take me. I couldn't understand why at first but soon it was apparent...every morning I had a nurse knock on my door for wound care of a invisible wound I must of had in their eyes. I told them each time I had no wound and they all said they would take me off the list but never did bc this continued every morning for my 18 day stay, which is the only logical reason the other rehabs denied me...I believe they were falsely charging my insurance for such "wound care". Numerous other terrible things go on there from their lazy staff and god awful food to their dirty place never cleaned and mice running around like clients. I will say the only good thing out of this entire place was my counselor Kyle...awesome person who truly cares and wants to see us do our best...thanks Kyle! This review will probably be taken down within an hour but please if any lawyer or legal aide reads this in time, please contact me ASAP!

I'm going to have a professional do a full write up on this place. But for now understand this is a money making operation not a caring operation. As soon as your insurance is milked they will send you on your way. Health care part is horrible and please if you are diabetic don't go there at all. Everyday was a gamble whether I'd live or die do to them having no clue how to manage low blood sugars at all. Diabetics please becareful and make sure you get juice and graham crackers before bed cause they are under staffed which makes 85% of the nurses not care about your life at all. However their are awesome people in all areas as well too but it seems they tend to fire anyone who goes against the grain to do the right things. I'm not trying to sue or anything like that but if I can find a way to get them monitored I am going to do it cause I deff. See a death to a patient happening there soon by the way they handle medical situations. Once again if you are diabetic or have a life sustaining situation avoid this place because they do not know what to do.

Valley Forge I believe is "a cut above" the rest because of their unbelievable team of staff. Dorron, (hope I spelled his name right) is in charge of all the staff members who monitor the patients activities and more throughout the day. He himself is one of the most caring & understanding people I've ever met and the team members under him are all super good people. Every Single employee at Valley Forge treated me not only with respect but almost like I was family. I got to know quite a few of them very well. They take a lot of undeserved flack too which isn't fair at all.

I was there 9 years ago! I still have nightmares. Im an RN-worked 35 years. My family had done an Intervention , and not knowing the area they chose VFMC Hmmmmit was the only place that had beds!?! I wonder why.. I became Pyschotic, as they had no knowledge on how to detox me. Just HORRIBLE!!!!! Someone above said to STAY AWAY!!! I will add, please!
