The pricing is way off. Additional smallrepairs made without any warning of a x4 price increase from the original agreed upon price. Please, Please read other reviews and save yourself from falling into the same trap so many of us have succumbed to. Edit: I have now used another plumbing company 3 times and realize how inappropriatel this plumbing company behaved and charged. They overcharged, are not friendly, and leave a mess in your house. I am so upset I ever called them, so I am reiterating please void this company. You can see my other reviews for who i recommend.

Pricing and lack of communication. Very unprofessional to not tell you their fees and procedures before coming out. I called them to ask about replacing a sewage pump which I knew before i called needed to be replaced. The plumber came out and did an assessment- cost $110. When I made the appointment i was never told this. So I paid $110 for them to tell me I need a new pump which I already knew. Also asked the plumber to tighten a loose faucet. I would have done it myself but since he was there and had actual plumbers tools i asked if he would do it and he said yes. I figured he would do it as a courtesy since he was already there and i used them before for big jobs. He charged me $110 to tighten a bolt that took less than 2 minutes. I was APPALLED that he did not tell me he would charge that much BEFORE he worked on it otherwise I would NEVER of had him do it. Also he asked me to help hold the faucet so Lucas should pay me for my assistance. Wont be using Lucas any more. Instead found a plumber who does not charge for assessment fees I contacted the company that makes the pump I mentioned. They said it could just be clogged and try cleaning it. I jiggled it and it apparently had a clog which is now gone and it works great. With computer troubleshooting rule #1 is check your cables. Plumbers dont think to check for clogs first before telling a customer they need to spend many hundreds of dollars on a new system?

I try to support local, but I feel like I was taken advantage of here and the service was terrible. I will say that everyone that I interacted with was very nice especially the receptionist. I think her name was Pat. I am not a troll and do not enjoy bad reviews, but I feel it is my duty to inform people. So I am just posting the facts: 1. $700 to install a toilet that I supplied including replacing a broken flange 2. They placed dirty toilet parts on my rug and it is stained 3. The supply line was incorrectly installed resulting in a slow leak that eventually was discovered when I had water dripping from a light in my basement 4. Person sent to replace the supply line parked in their truck in my driveway and was dripping oil 3 yrs later and I have yet to hear from "someone from our office to reach out about your concerns' Service: Toilet installation

We've used Lucas plumbing a dozen times over the years. They're probably not the cheapest, but they seem to be typical rates. I've tried others -- Lucas is dependable and has always done great work. Just had Greg diagnose and repair really elusive shower leak (was initially installed by another contractor, but valve evidently died from old age). He's got a boatload of experience and skills, and did an A1 job. Services: Toilet repair, Shower installation, Toilet installation, Shower repair

Had them out to do some small work, replacing 2 faucet handles with levers, and replacing inner workings on two bathroom sinks, plus removing a drain clog. 3 hours, which should have taken half that, and $1,200 later they were gone. Outrageously high pricing. Will not use again.
