The Kitchen on Penn

Food was ok but very expensive for what I got. 40 dollars for 3 fried eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, toast fruit, and coffee and juice. I would not suggest the spicy sausage. It was dry and hard to chew. Service was friendly but the kitchen was very slow. We were there for over 2 hours for breakfast. It was also very loud. The place echoes.

Very impressed with my first experience at Kitchen on Penn! The spinach and artichoke dip was the best spinach and artichoke dip Ive ever had! My tequila sunrise was tasty. Everything was great.

I had grilled shrimp tacos and they were not good. Way too much cheese and 2 or 3 little shrimp got lost in all of the filler veggies. They had an odd taste and I could finish them. Pico de Gallo not good either. Tasted pickled not Mexican at all. And they charge $2 extra for salsa and sour cream! Wouldnt have needed but they were dry. No sides served for $20 just 3 dry tacos on a plate. Get something else. My stomach is upset and I definitely would not order again. Its a really nice place and service was great.

We went for breakfast. It was nice to see something other than the traditional breakfast items. We both had the crabby Benedict. It was excellent. We will be back.
