Lairdsville Butcher Shop

It's always the quiet ones! An unassuming little red building in the country, taught me a valuable lesson today. I learned that the trash I have been buying at the big chain grocery stores is not only over priced, but should not legally be able to be called meat. I purchased ground beef, homemade hot dogs, bacon and rib eye steaks..5 of them. Not only would the same order at the "supermarket" have cost me roughly 5x as much but in no way could the quality have compared. It is all fresh, local, non gmo, free from antibiotics and hormones and the difference is clear. Superb! I am ashamed to say that I didn't know what meat was actually supposed to taste like. I can not recommend this little butcher shop highly enough. Please don't be like me, experience real food before you are 40.

Fresh, quality meats with friendly down-home service. The beef sticks and ring bologna are better than most found, in our area. The cheese, in their bologna, is not watery or slimy, like other local brands. #NoLiqui-Cheese!
