Having had the opportunity to photograph a wedding at the Chelsea Sun Inn, I can wholeheartedly recommend this venue to any couple seeking a picturesque and versatile location for their special day. Beautiful wedding setting Ive been to twice! Ive experienced an outdoor wedding around the pool in beautiful weather, and the same area tented with heaters in cooler weather. Both were equally, tastefully done and the heaters MORE than adequately keep guests warm! Noteworthy details: The drive to it is very pretty. Charming homes, vast farm or woodlands. Simply pretty from end to end.

We had the wedding ceremony/reception of our dreams here. The venue location itself is a few minutes out into the sticks, but ultimately that only adds to the charm of the experience. While it is easily accessible, it is isolated enough on it's own land where you don't ever have a concern of "waking the neighbors" with your event. Our first visit was a tour of the entire premises and grounds, hosted by our venue manager, Shane. Not only is he very knowledgeable about every detail of the venue, he has also been tasked by the venue owners to create a unique room-by-room experience in design, decor and "feel", which is executed with a passion. Different combinations of color, architecture, artwork, lighting and arrangement give every room in this venue it's own individual value...and it's still evolving. We were amazed on our first tour, but it took a couple of follow-up tours before we could truly start to appreciate the "flow" of the entire internal design. The in-ground pool and neighboring raised outdoor hot tub encircled by the main building, accompanied by the large outdoor tented hosting area, are almost an afterthought in comparison. The grounds themselves, away from the main building, lends itself to picturesque landscape in any season. Our wedding photographer, Mark "Madcat" Capone, had a field day with the photo opportunities both inside and outside the main building. The "Inn" portion of the Chelsea Sun Inn is not lost either, with the ability to accommodate 30+ overnight guests, with the renters arranging room assignments to their liking, and Shane and Co. available to assist with those arrangements. Breakfast was served the following morning to us and all of our overnight guests in the kitchen and adjoining dining areas. Overall, this was a unique and amazing experience for us, and for all of our guests, and if we had to do it all over, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you, Chelsea Sun Inn for having us! Highly recommend!! P.S. Given the amenities, facilities and services provided, the cost of the venue is not prohibitive, and they offer an extremely reasonable payment plan to reserve your date.
