Capital Towing Service

After reading these reviews and an article about the excessive charges this tow company likes to do. I find it hard to believe that after a break down, that the Marple Police Dept would call these people after the same police dept was quoted in the article about how much they overcharge. Makes me wonder about their ongoing relationship. I guess that I should be thankful that my experience was a one time event. When I spoke with the tow driver at the scene, he acted like he was doing me a favor towing it to a shop about a mile away. He wanted to impound my car to Morton?? It was a breakdown not a criminally charged accident. Then when we dropped the car at my shop there was a lot of attitude about using a credit card, like it was 1973 and not 2023. Who carries that kind of cash on a daily basis? The tow truck driver was a person that you dont want to deal with in such a stressful situation. Rolling his eyes a lot and aggravated sighs. Im glad that I could be there to protect my daughter from these predators. Stay away from Capital Towing in Morton Pa. Again I feel lucky, it could have been worse.

At some point in time during the trip to Mechanicsburg they removed my kids' 2 car seats, a prescription, and MOST of the items in my glove box. My registration, insurance card, marriage license, and other important documents were scrapped but everything else was left in the car. Last, but not least, the front spoiler was torn off or removed for some reason! I have made several attempts to resolve this to no avail!!
