    I am a very laid back person, so I don't write this review lightly as I like to support local small businesses and write positive reviews, but I write this to warn everyone to not hire TD Bully for any large projects. We hired them to demolish the front wall of our house and rebuild the brick, a job they said they were experienced with and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare costing us a lot of money (over $25,000) and personal time invested. I will not go in to all of the details because it would take pages to write, but here is a summary: We paid an initial deposit for the job March 2022, and as of April 2023 the job was not complete and at that point we had enough excuses (we clearly gave them plenty of time to rectify the situation) and fired them. We subsequently hired another reputable contractor who had to redo the small amount of work that TD Bully had done in that time frame and it only took them 4 weeks to complete the project (the new contractors were able to get the permits with the proper process and it was very straightforward, unlike what Tyler mentioned). Of note, many days Tyler would simply not show up to work even if he said he would be there. Or he would show up at 12 or 1 and work until 4. Whereas we would see other contractors in the neighborhood start work at 8am and stay until sunset. So he is very unreliable and the work was very very very poor. The person who lives with me thankfully is very handy and understands workmanship and had to take A LOT of time to follow up on Tyler's very poor work. It was like a full time job to chase him down and follow up with him. We could not live in the house for approximately 9 months because there was no front wall, just a tarp and we had a newborn during this time (thankfully we do have another apartment we can live in). But this whole experience ruined half of my maternity leave as we were planning to be in the house (Tyler promised the job would be done by the end of October 2022, the baby was born November 2022) with our newborn and my mom but that wasn't able to happen due to the lack of a front wall and poor heating inside and danger entering the house due to it being an open construction site. Although we should have fired TD Bully a long time before, the straw that broke the camel's back was a stop work order was put on our house because Tyler had lied and said work permits were in place when they clearly were not. After we fired him he then threatened us saying we owed him more money (so laughable) even after we had already paid him close to $30,000 for a job that was not even close to complete. Thankfully our credit card company did review the dozens of pages of email and text message evidence of the lack of professionalism, poor work and lack of completing the project and did refund us our money. So I can't speak to their landscaping work, but for any other big projects or projects involving brick work I would run far far away from this company as it was an absolute nightmare to work with them and there are many other reputable options in Philadelphia and the surrounding region. *Pictures attached of what our house looked like for 6 months with just a tarp on the front. And a picture of once he finally did start the brick work the very poor workmanship. (I'm just adding to this in response to Tyler. These are absolutely the pictures of his work and how the tarp was for 6 months. Plus I have no idea what he is talking about that I have done this to other businesses as I have never written a lengthy review like this or requested money back like this or filed a lawsuit (the case has now been closed due to personal reasons with our lawyer). So again, he is very dishonest and is not capable of saying sorry and admitting to any wrong doing at all or the truth. Buyer be aware!)

Hey Ted, thanks for your review. We did our due diligence with the contract we agreed too, which included no refunds under the termination clause. We had your job scheduled and contract signed, we both were aware permits were needed and we offered to help in every way possible, even gave you several options to choose from with the design. You decided you didn’t want to deal with Makefield township permit dept and decided to cancel the work. Everything was also provided to the courts via mail, as I was going through chemo treatments for cancer and couldn’t attend the court date. They were also aware of my medical issues then and provided them proof on why I couldn’t attend. We are very sorry it came to this but we held up our end of the contract and we’re in communication with you the entire time during the permit process. We hope nothing but the best for you.

Hey April, Thanks for your review, as we always love Feedback from our customers. But let me be very clear here. We are in the middle of a lawsuit with you so there is only so much I'm allowed to discuss.You signed a contract in March, which stated services would be started as soon as you made your material payment so we can order materials, as your black brick was special order from North Carolina. You did not make that payment until August! Which means we couldn't start until they came in which was October. In the meantime we started with the demolition work, insulation, and cinderblock install. Because the material payment was not in until almost end of summer, and materials didn't come in until October, we started getting into the winter when starting to build the wall.As a contractor, we also informed you both several times, via phone, email, and on the contract, that we perform Snow Removal Services, and when it snows we would not be performing services. Also, you can not do Brick and Block work below a certain temperature, which we informed you of as well, which is why most days during November - March, work was not completed as fast as you would have liked.Now when it comes to the permits, permits were filed with the city of Phila, as we have proof. We have several inspectors come out during work and even saw it in the system and said we were good to go to continue work, as permits in Phila take a long time to get approved. After you recieved the Stop Work Order, we contacted the permit dept and they said they sent paperwork to your home, as additional info was needed, and it was provided. We also waited almost 2 months for Peco to come out and relocate their wires, which we couldn't proceed on that side of the house until that was done. Also not to mention, the add ons that your husband wanted us to do, because your foundation was not done correctly, nor was insulation, so with added services, the time of completion gets extended, right!You also put a claim in to American Express to try and get all of your money back. almost 60k, which you did get back, and we had to pay back after almost half the work was done. These pictures aren't even the correct pictures, these were from the day we put up the tarp so snow didn't get inside your home, as there was no insulation. You ruined our Reputation with Quickbooks, as we can no longer use them, even after recieving the refund, you filed a lawsuit on us. Even in the email you both sent, you stated you weren't trying to ruin our reputation or talk bad about our business but here you are 2 years later still harassing us! You got your money back, we have to suffer now as more than half the work was completed. So we lost out on over 60k. And your still trying to take us to court for more money?? You got to stop doing this, you got your money that wasn't rightfully yours as work was done. No need to get double your money!Stop bleeding small businesses of their money by filing lawsuits as doing some research, this isn't your first time doing this to other businesses. As you can see from our other reviews and pictures of projects, we are very professional and well educated on how to perform services. Please leave us alone, it's been 2 years!
